2017-18 VEX SEASON

THE CHALLENGE

Matches are played on a 12' x 12' field set up as illustrated in the image. There are two Alliances, a red Alliance and a blue Alliance, which are composed of two teams each. The objective of the game is to score more points than the other Alliance by Stacking Cones on Goals, Scoring Mobile Goals in Goal Zones, having the Highest Stacks, and by Parking Robots.

The team that wins the Autonomous Period by having the most Cone and Goal points at the end receives a bonus.

SUMMARY OF OUR TEAM

Throughout the season, the individual VEX teams worked hard to complete goals and meet the expectations of the season's VEX robot. All of the teams advanced to states, resulting team 3389D advancing to Worlds in Kentucky. In total, the teams won several awards including but not limited to: Design, Robot Skills, and Engineering Notebook awards
