Outreach

            Over the past two years, the team has grown by over 20%, increasing the amount of students influenced by robotics to pursue an engineering career. The expansion of student participation has allowed the team to expand further in their community, getting more involved with service events and fundraising opportunities. This year alone, the team participated in eight community outreach activities, some directly promoting the ideas of FIRST and the importance of STEM throughout the community. As the team continues to expand into the community, they have the ability to spread the message promoted by FIRST and help locals understand the foundations of robotics and engineering, influencing younger generations to become more involved and look into these programs when they come of age.
