2018-19 FTC SEASON
Rover Ruckus was the FIRST Tech Challenge game for the 2018-2019 season.
In the competition, two alliances of two teams each compete to collect minerals and place them into the cargo holes of the lander.
SUMMARY OF OUR TEAM
Southern Maryland Qualifier (Dec 8):
Though they learned about several mechanical issues that they need to change, team 10382 performed well at the competition. They won the Design award at this qualifier
Naval Academy Qualifier (Jan 12):
The team remained in in the top five rankings throughout the entire event. In the end we were the 2nd place alliance captains, and ended up winning the entire tournament, advancing them to states. Along with tournament champion, they also won 1st place for design again and 2nd place for motivate. They came back from this competition with a fresh look at their robot and ideas on how to improve to compete at the state level.
Maryland State Championship at UMBC (Mar 3):
Our Team performed well despite the mechanical issues faced. Even though, we did not advance, our team did an excellent job representing not only themselves but our county as well. Congratulations FTC team 10382 for making it to states and for an excellent season!
